Sports
Structured sport is a core part of our rehabilitation work.

Delivered at both our Drop In Centre for children currently living and working on the streets, and at our Residential Rehabilitation Centre, our sports programmes support recovery, wellbeing and long term development. Sport provides a healthy outlet for stress, improves physical fitness and strengthens mental resilience - all essential during rehabilitation.

Through our sports programmes, young people also engage in structured learning. Sessions include discussions and activities focused on gender equality, health and hygiene, respect and positive decision making. Alongside this, children develop confidence, teamwork, communication and leadership skills that support their progress back into education, training and family life.

Through delivery and funding partnerships with organisations in the sport for development sector, we run football, cricket, netball, table tennis and aerobics sessions. All activities are adapted to meet the specific needs of street connected boys and girls, ensuring they are inclusive, safe and consistent.
Sports creates a level playing field, helping to change community attitudes towards street connected young people.
