Halfway Homes

Young people who are referred to our Halfway Homes typically spend between 1-3 months with us while they heal from the traumas they experienced on the streets and we work with them to trace their family.

Our Halfway Homes – one for boys and one for girls - provide a temporary, safe place for street connected children before they are reunited with their families. Whilst a child is staying at one of our Halfway Homes, they are cared for by our Home Assistants and provided with love, care, support, counselling and education. This helps to prepare them for returning to normal life at home with their families.

Since buying our land in 2014, we have developed our Residential Site to include all of the facilities needed to give children in our care the best opportunity for successful rehabilitation. Alongside the residential centres, our site now includes a library, playground, football pitch, classrooms and a Permaculture farm!
