Fundraise for us
S.A.L.V.E. International exists because of people who choose to take action. By fundraising for us, you help ensure that street connected children and young people in Uganda can access the support they need to leave the streets, return to education and rebuild their futures.
There are many ways to get involved. Whether you host a small event in your community, take on a personal challenge, or raise funds through your workplace, every effort helps us continue our life changing work.
Explore the different ways you can fundraise below.
Community fundraising
Community fundraising is a simple and enjoyable way to support S.A.L.V.E. International. From bake sales and quiz nights to sponsored walks and local events, fundraising in your community brings people together while raising vital funds.
Many of our supporters organise their own activities, while others take part in events we run throughout the year. We regularly host UK events such as quiz nights and Ceili evenings where supporters can come together, learn more about our work and raise funds.
Whatever you are planning, our team can help with fundraising ideas, resources and advice to make your event a success.
You can also explore and book onto our upcoming community events below.

Challenge events
Taking on a challenge is a powerful way to raise funds and awareness for S.A.L.V.E. International. Some supporters secure places in organised events such as marathons, runs, swims or cycling challenges and choose to fundraise for us.
Others create their own personal challenges, inviting friends and family to join and support them.
Whatever challenge you choose, we will support you with fundraising tips, materials and guidance to help you reach your goal.
If you are planning a challenge and would like to fundraise for S.A.L.V.E., we would love to hear from you.

Fundraising at work
Your workplace can be a great place to support S.A.L.V.E. International. Many employers offer schemes that can increase the impact of your fundraising.
You might organise a workplace fundraiser such as a quiz, bake sale or sponsored activity, encourage your employer to match donations, or choose S.A.L.V.E. as your team’s charity partner for a challenge event.
Some companies also offer payroll giving or other employee giving programmes that allow staff to donate regularly.
If you would like to fundraise through your workplace or explore employer match funding, get in touch and we will be happy to help.
Fundraiser story
Hannah and Jonnie took on the Peak District Challenge, walking an incredible 100km in support of S.A.L.V.E. International.
“It would be an absolute outrage in the UK if a child had to sleep on the streets, but in Uganda children as young as four can be found living on the streets. It felt good to support a smaller charity where the money raised will make a real difference. We wanted to do something together, set ourselves a challenge, and 100km felt pretty massive!”
