The Fore
Strategic/funding partnership
We were delighted to be chosen as part of The Fore’s winter funding round in November 2024. With their support, we have invested in our Monitoring and Evaluation systems, meaning we can reduce staff time spent away from core work; collect better data; report more accurately to our funders; and better demonstrate our impact.
The Fore’s wrap-around-care has also been instrumental in helping us address comms and marketing challenges, as well as help us with strategic planning. We are grateful to be part of their network and look forward to working together for many years to come.
CRANE
Local advocacy partnership
We are a member of the Children At Risk Action Network in Uganda – a consortium of organisations that are working to improve the lives of young people across the country. Together, we advocate for support, benefit from training opportunities and ensure that we are accountable to those working in the sector in Uganda.
Consortium for Street Children
International advocacy partnership
We are a member of the Consortium for Street Children, an international network of organisations working to improve the lives of street connected children around the world. Together, we advocate for change at the highest levels and work collaboratively to develop policy and programmes. Our partnership shows there is always strength in numbers.
Cricket Without Boundaries
Programme/delivery partnership
We are delighted to welcome coaches from Cricket Without Boundaries each week at both our Street Outreach and Residential centres. These qualified coaches deliver high quality sessions to our young people, helping them to improve their cricket skills, as well as develop soft, personal skills – like confidence, team work and leadership – that will be beneficial throughout their lives ahead.
FIFA Foundation
Programme/funding partnership
Through support from the FIFA Foundation, we have been able to design and implement a Gender Equality football programme at both our Street Outreach and Residential centres. Together, we are showing that sport can have great impact on the lives of young people in Uganda.
Earth Allies Restoration Network
Programme/Funding Partnership
We were delighted to be chosen as part of EARN's five year funding programme in 2024. With their support, we are investing in our permaculture farm - diversifying the crops we can grow, strengthening our farming methods and ensuring the site can be used for training despite the increasing challenges of climate change. As part of their support, EARN welcomed S.A.L.V.E. team members for training in Tanzania, and have visited our site in Jinja to give practical support and advice. This staff capacity building is vital for the success of this programme.
